Hiking TrailsHiking to Fall Creek WaterfallLush vegetation Brad characterized as being paradise, a trail that weaves through a boulder cleaved in half by a cataclysm; this is the hike to Fall Creek Falls. The USFS describes this hike as "more difficult." That means only that the trail is rough and rocky, but it's very beautiful. The hiking trail and waterfall are simply one of the many hiking trails to waterfalls in the Umpqua National Forest. Directions to the Fall Creek Waterfalls hiking trail: The trailhead is located at milepost marker 32.2 on Hwy 138, the Rogue Umpqua Scenic Byway. If you're on I - 5, take the exit for Roseburg that says Diamond Lake. Follow the signs and drive 32.2 miles to the trailhead on the left side of the road. Trail Length: 1 mile. As rated by the Umpqua National Forest, this hiking trail is more difficult. It includes many lovely and striking features, not the least being the waterfall. Find a flush toilet at the trailhead. Nearby Attractions include the hiking trail to Susan Creek waterfall at the 28.2 mile marker on the Rogue Umpqua Scenic Byway, Susan Creek Day Use area for picnicking and the campground, Bogus Creek Campground on the wild and scenic Umpqua River, as well as the trailhead for the Wright Creek segment of the North Umpqua River Hiking Trail.
