Oh but, it's wonderful to be at Crater Lake just before that closure, to drive into the park, still fresh from all the beauty of the Rogue Umpqua Scenic Byway and the North Umpqua River where the warmth of summer lives on, then travel along the western rim and see the light dusting of snow everywhere. | |||
