The Phantom Ship is rock formed in one of the earliest eruptions and is the oldest exposed rock of Mt Mazama, the mountain that forms the caldera of Crater Lake. This view is from the large pull off. if I remember correctly it's the first viewpoint after the hiking trail at Sun Notch, which also gives a spectacular view of Crater Lake. | |
