Watson Waterfall on the wild and scenic Umpqua River:
Traveling a mountain path on the Rogue Umpqua Scenic Byway in the Cascades of Oregon. Hiking trails riverside and to the myriad waterfalls that dot the Umpqua River watershed.

Hiking a forest path to spectacular Watson Waterfalls in the Umpqua National
Forest. Like Toketee Waterfall, Watson Falls is one of my favorites, a trail I always hike. I
suppose I could say that for all the
waterfalls on the Umpqua Scenic Byway. I love that pass, I drive along the river
every chance I get, so it
stands to reason I'd be hiking to the waterfalls every chance I get. It's kind
of like Crater Lake, I never
drive this pass without going through Crater Lake, as long as the north entrance
is open. :-)
