Sweet Creek Waterfalls:

Tributary to the Smith River in the coast range 15 miles
east of the coast at Florence, Oregon.

waterfalls on sweet creek, hiking near florence on the oregon coast in the siuslaw national forest.

Hiking the very easy trail along Sweet Creek in the Oregon Coast Range.

The Forest Service rates this trail easy to moderate. As I think back, I suppose it has roots or some other obstruction of that sort.
I recommended this hike to my parents who are elderly, suffering from some health issues, yet still somewhat physically fit. We did a portion
of the Waterfalls Hiking Trail alongside the McKenzie River together. Hopefully, this will give you some idea as to how easy or difficult
this trail might be, all things being relative. :-)

Protect our National Forests and Wilderness Areas. Leave NO Trace! Be sure to check with the
ranger station about conditions in the forests and roads before venturing
out. In summer check about fire conditions.
