East Davis Lake Campground at Davis Lake in the Deschutes National Fores of Oregont

Prior to a large forest fire, possibly caused by a careless camper a few years ago, this was a very popular campground. As it is today, the area is beginning to recover. The campground is greening, as life is renewing. Like Lava Flow Campground it is known for its wildlife, wildflowers, bird watching opportunities, sightseeing, and access to a nearby lava flow.

East Davis Lake Campground is located on the east side of Odell Creek where it enters Davis Lake. While it was once a very popular campground, use is now light. It's open from April through September, and unlike Lava Flow Campground has fees, but it also has potable water. The cost per night is $12.00 for the first vehicle and $6.00 for each additional vehicle. The sites are not reservable. There are 17 single and 3 double sites. None are accessible. There are no hookups for electricity, sewer or water. There is no pavement type for parking and no dump station. The maximum spur length is 50'.
