If you are looking for the manicured homogeneity of conventional, mainstream America you are unlikely to find it here. If you're looking for peace and relaxation defined in a unique environment, you'll likely find it here. If you want to explore relatively unknown nearby scenic special places, and enjoy the unexpected, come. If you're somewhat fussy and particular about little things, the retreat may not be suitable for you.

Note: We try to maintain a reasonable cleanliness etc, receive compliments and have few complaints, yet our approach and accommodations are not for everyone, nor can one please everyone all the time ... and there is always the unforeseen, occasional human error to consider or simply overlooking something. Also: Renting principally on a longer term basis exempts from regulations governing such categories as motels or hotels, therefore if having reservations about courtesy use items, such as pots and pans, linens, etc., it's best to bring your own or apply additional cleaning etc., as deemed if unsure. Note: It is expected, due to our relatively low rates, that dwellings etc be left reasonably clean and neat upon departure.
