Wood River Wetland teems with wildlife, especially waterfowl. Often dense in water vegetation to the degree ofa botanical garden. Great for a simple hike, walking out on the considerable "peninsula" or canoeing throughwater lilies (wocus), tules, etc. The din of myriad and considerable bird populations lend a poignant, soothing ambience.
