The Warner Mountains and Surprise Valley

Travel California and experience Surprise Valley, bounded by the Warner Mountains on the west, which is in the Modoc National Forest. Enjoy the south warner wilderness, cedarville, eagleville, fort bidwell and the barrel springs/surprise valley backcountry byway.

Although it was July, snow still cloaked the mountains on our first visit to Surprise Valley and the Warner Mountains.
