Residents of the area have told me that Bighorn Sheep can be seen on Winter Ridge in February. Sadly, I've never been in Summer Lake then. I think it's lovely anytime of the year. The above photograph was taken in July, but it was a July that followed a winter that lasted into May, bringing lots of snow, so it could look drier in a more normal year. | |||
